PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS
ATLANTIS’ bactericide and filtration technologies are significant
breakthroughs with important commercial and environmental implications in the fields of water, wastewater, fluids, and air treatment. The Dynamic Filter is unique because it continuously backwashes and
requires no bypassing or shutdown for cleaning. It can filter to micro levels (1 micron) at design rates up to 300 gallons/minute without interruption.
With respect to its bactericide (or fungicide/algaecide), ATLANTIS
has exclusive access to proprietary binder technologies which, in aqueous conditions, hold low concentrations of copper sulfate pentahydrate in solution. High concentration copper sulfate based bactericides,
algaecides, and pesticides have been in long use but commonly result in metal precipitation and/or environmental concerns. Our binder technology overcomes these two limitations. It also creates a bactericide
that has significant advantages over chlorine, the principal bactericide in use today for water purification and also odor control. These advantages include longer lasting efficacy, lower concentrations of
bactericide, and avoidance of the dangers, handling and environmental problems associated with chlorine. In odor control, our EPA registered product destroys the offensive odor without masking or neutralizing with
another odor.
These initial two products have undergone several years of
successful testing in numerous applications individually and in concert synergistically. The Company’s goal is to continuously gain access to improved technologies that have been successfully proven in field
applications and not offered by the large providers of commodity products.
TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT
Through a combination of master distributorships, exclusive
distributorships and strategic partnering, ATLANTIS markets a number of higher performance products and systems for the improved treatment of air, water and wastes. Examples include high performance biological
degradation systems, microbes for enhancing waste degradation rates, solids drying systems, lagoon treatments, and superior cleaners and coatings. In managing technology, our focus is always on the cost/benefit
equation in targeting optimum customer satisfaction.
